This is quite honestly the perfect summer smoothie! It’s insanely refreshing, hydrating, protects your skin against UV sun damage, and low ingredients so you don’t feel bloated after.
This smoothie has been on repeat the last 2 weeks in my kitchen. There is something so refreshing about berries when it’s really hot out. I crave more berry smoothies in the summer and my dark chocolate smoothie in the fall/winter. Plus I LOVE how healing berries are for the skin, and in the summer our skin is super susceptible to increased damage due to the sun and extra heat.
If this is your first time reading one of my recipes – there’s something you need to know about me, I love the WHY behind everything! When I am eating food I want to know how it’s helping my body and the benefits. So when I post a recipe I always make sure you guys know MY WHY for the recipe and how it can help you. Check out the benefits below!

Triple Berry Chocolate Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup of assorted berries (pick 3 – blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries)
1/4 banana
A few splashes of unsweetened coconut/almond/cashew milk
2 scoops of dark chocolate & blackberry collagen peptides
For on top – almond/peanut/cashew butter (the only ingredient should be the nut itself) & cacao nibs
Directions: Blend all the fruit & nut milk together first. Start with a few splashed and add more if necessary – the less liquid, the thicker it will be. When combined, add the collagen powder, keep blending. Then add a handful of ice if you prefer and finish blending. Pour into a cup and top with nut butter and cacao nibs.
**I love to add crunchies like cacao nibs to my smoothies because chewing helps to produce saliva and activate your digestive system.
