Why hello there!
I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving! The Clark household sure did and I want to do it all over again! BTW I’m posting a Thanksgiving recap on the blog this week because we had a legen… wait for it…dairy-free and gluten-free Thanksgiving (see when I did there).
Anyways, I’ve been posting this Pumpkin Pie Smoothie non-stop the past few weeks because I just can’t stop making it. It’s THAT GOOD. Pumpkin season is most definitely not over in my house. I will be making this smoothie all year round because the benefits of pumpkin are unreal. Why should we limit it to just fall?
Well you know I can’t give a recipe without all the yummy benefits. So here are some good ones!
helps keep you fuller for longer & aids in weight loss
keeps your eyesight sharp
reduces risk of cancer
promotes youthful and bright skin
lowers blood pressure
increases immune system
men…it’s good for your prostate health
1 cup almond milk
2 tablespoons almond butter
3 heaping tablespoons of canned pumpkin (organic is best!)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
4 large medjool dates
Throw all ingredients in your blender and blend it up! There is always the option to add ice if you are feeling it.
