Why did I not create a juice cleanse?
Well for starters I used to be the biggest advocate for juice cleanses, I loved them, but after discovering that not so great side of them I decided it was not the best to cleanse my body by binge drinking juice. Juices cleanses are short term, not long term. They are typically low in protein which makes your body break down muscle tissue instead of fat. Juice cleanses also are very high in sugar due to the concentrated fruits and veggies. Lastly, you can actually alter your metabolism and slow it down during a juice cleanse, making it harder to lost weight. This does not mean juicing is bad, juicing is great! Just binge juice cleansing is not the best for our bodies. Your body has build in cleansing mechanisms, they are called you kidneys and liver! That’s why a whole food, unprocessed cleanse is best for our bodies. That is EXACTLY what the Kayleigh Christina Whole Food 5 Day Cleanse is!
This cleanse is perfect for anyone! For the person who eats a highly processed diet to the person who has done 100 juice cleanses! If you eat a highly processed food diet you can start the cleanse with some of the modifications included, and then work your way down to no modifications. If you already eat extremely healthy this will be a great nutritional reference with new recipes and a guided cleanse. This cleanse is also the perfect transition into a whole food, real food diet. No processed crap here! It is the perfect cleanse to rid your body of unnatural cravings, boost energy levels, sleep better, lose fat, boost your immune system, and jumpstart your healthy lifestyle!
